At Waldkorn®, we take the time for taste and for our Waldkorn® Heritage, we take just that little bit longer. The desem in this bread is allowed to ferment for no less than 19 hours.

The characteristic mild desem taste and delicious smell of Waldkorn® Heritage are due to this longer fermentation process. The bread is even more recognisable thanks to the somewhat uneven structure and fine crust. So you know you are taking home the real taste of traditional craftsmanship. The roasted aromas of the crust blend perfectly with the mellow nut aroma of the crumb. A delicious bread that tastes just right at any time of the day.

Source of fibre: deliciously sensible!

The sour desem, made using wheat and rye, is allowed to ferment for no less than 19 hours. After this, the desem is dried completely – so that no active ingredients remain – and processed into the bread. The dried desem produces the unique aromas of Waldkorn® Heritage. A deliciously mild taste and a superb smell.
